
Since retiring from MMA competition, Brock Lesnar been commonly discussed by fans and pundits about his possible return to professional wrestling. On the weekend of March 31, 2012, just a day before WrestleMania XXVIII, some websites announced that Lesnar had signed with the WWE to make his triumphant return. Lesnar's return was expected to generate a lot of buzz and excitement, but only time was going to tell how well he was going to perform - if there was truth to the speculation of his impending return at all. The day after WrestleMania, April 2, 2012, Lesnar made his return to the WWE on Raw before an explosive crowd at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. He confronted John Cena in the ring, and without saying a word, delivered an F-5 that was heard around the world.
