Everette Marshall, who saw the Chicago product grappling in the Windy City a short time
ago.” Al Massey was said to be holder of the Southern title “after a four weeks tournament
in Atlanta.”

He was a “Phi Beta Kappa frat member.” If he beats Charro Azteca, he could claim to be
the South American champion, a title the latter claimed.  Charro used the Indian Death
Lock.  White was said to be undefeated locally.

at midnight.”  It was “rated as one of the most scientific bouts witnessed at the local arena
in years.” Menacker was an “ex-army major who recently was separated from service.”
