
*On Wednesday, April 1, 1936, Al Haft in Columbus announced that Dick Shikat would defend his World Heavyweight Title against Everette Marshall in Denver on Friday, May 22. Haft signed the bout, and said “the Denver show would be backed by Jack Kanner and a group of Colorado businessmen.
