Notes:  The Galveston Daily News reported that "Davis' excellent figure and youthful,
good-looking features, made a big hit with the crowd, especially the ladies." On May 10,
1936, the Galveston Daily News stated that Davis was called the Satin Kid "because
everything he wears in the ring is made of black satin, including his trunks." Perry was a
YMCA champion.
