NOTES   Promoter Billy Romanoff wrestled Jack Reynolds for the world's welterweight title
back in the 1920's.
Rex Mobley was billed from Amarillo, Texas. He held the LH belt all during 1941. The title was
defended in Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, and likely a few nearby states. Who George
Becker won it from is a mystery. In 1939, Carlos Ramos defended the world light heavyweight
title in Jackson.   I know that Ramos defeated Babe Kasaboski in Arizona for a title called the
Junior lightheavyweight championship. Ramos seemed to lose it in El Paso. Maybe it was a
different belt. Likely the promoters just put the title on George Becker.
