*A preview for a wrestling show on Friday, December 22, 1944 ran, advertising a show at
the Biscayne Arena “tonight.” The following was said to be the line-up:

Miami, Florida:  Friday, December 22, 1944
(Biscayne Arena) … The Green Shadow and King Kong vs. Paddy Mack and Young (Li’l
Abner) Gotch (two referees assigned to bout) … George Bennett vs. Tuffy Truesdale
Notes:  Bennett was from Oklahoma A&M.  This show was not held.

*On Friday, December 29, 1944, a promotional piece in the Miami Herald stated that
wrestling was returning to the Biscayne Arena after a week’s layoff, indicating that there
was no show last week.  The December 29 line-up was the same as the said December
22 show, so it appears that there was a mistake, and there was no December 22
program at the Biscayne Arena.

Miami, Florida:  Friday, December 29, 1944
(Biscayne Arena) … The Green Shadow and King Kong b. Paddy Mack and Young (L’ll
Abner) Gotch (2/3) … George Bennett and Tuffy Truesdale drew
