boxer Oliver Shanks.

*The Montreal State Athletic Commission met with Eddie Quinn on Tuesday, October 29,
1940 to decide whether they should allow the initial boxer vs. wrestling show in Montreal.
The commission agreed to go forward with the match. Oliver Shanks would wear gloves,
while Robert would compete using the proscribed wrestling rules in the 10, three-minute
rounds.
