Notes:  The excellent publicity on Lenihan continued in the Long Island Daily Press.  The
paper stated, on December 22, that “More than a year ago, George was the biggest draw
in the history of Jamaica wrestling.  Then he was pinned by illness, and after a long
siege, started a comeback only a few months ago.  George found the going pretty tough
for many weeks, and most of the fans thought that the wily veteran had lost forever his
strength and cunning.  However, the old Boston College footballer, has proved himself to
be better than ever in recent tests.”
