There was a rumor that Bob Leipler used that ring name. Matt Buziak talked with Leipler
and he said no. Jim Melby also said that Joe McCarthy was not Leipler. I think possibly
that two different wrestlers used that name. I have a picture of this Senator Joe McCarthy.
I think possibly it may be Leipler.

NOTES: Gary Howard author of the outstanding book “The Rassler from Renfrew” sent
me the following information.
Tony Faletti aka Jake Brooks was from Detroit and worked on the circuit as a referee.
Chuck Molnar, Skull Murphy and Buddy Freeman aka Paddy Ryan were from Hamilton.
The Golden Terror was unmasked as Gino “Red” Vagnone. Faletti was well past his
prime as a wrestler when he came here as was Vagnone, but Kasaboski always gave the
old guys another kick at the can.
