Notes:  Cholak was returning after a long tour of Japan.  Blackjack Lanza was originally
booked to be apart of the six-man tag team bout, but was replaced by Bob Geigel.  The
St. Louis Post Dispatch (8/18/70) stated that Lanza "was dropped following a dispute with
promoter Sam Muchnick." The publicity stated that O'Connor and Kowalski had "been at
odds since Jan. 13, 1956 when Pat and Wilbur Snyder took a handicap match from
Kowalski." There were no falls or time-limit in the "death match." The winner would be
decided when one of the wrestlers was unable to continue.
