NOTES: Burt Ray researched Toronto 1945 many years ago. As he was missing the results
for about half a dozen shows, I researched the Toronto Daily Star on the Google site. 1945 is
the only year that Google has.
Burt likely used a different newspaper as he found results the Daily Star missed.

Barney Baer was Slim Zimbleman
Aaron Stein was likely Abe Stein
Sandy O’Donnell was Ray Eckert
Hard Boiled Hannigan was Babe Sharkey. The paper even mentioned this. He was once
billed as Hard Boiled Sharkey.
Joe Jackson is a complete mystery. He also appeared in Buffalo this year.
