Notes:  The Toronto Daily Star reported that the referee “disqualified [Robert] out” of his
British Empire championship.  Another article stated that Robert had been disqualified
and the referee “awarded the British Empire wrestling holdings to Whipper Billy Watson.”
Watson was “somewhat dissatisfied himself in regaining his laurels by a disqualification
decision.” Robert was fined $50 and Larry Moquin was fined $25.  Moquin interfered in
the bout, earning the disqualification and Robert punched Maxwell, the referee, in the
nose.  Following the punch, Ontario Athletic Commission chairman Fred Steel entered
the ring and fined both Moquin and Robert.
