
Royal Rumble ‘03 -The annual Royal Rumble was held on Sunday, January 19, 2003 in Boston, Massachusetts at the FleetCenter. -Commentators: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole and Tazz. Steiner won by DQ. -Helmsley was accompanied by Ric Flair, who participated in the match. -Helmsley used a sledgehammer and was disqualified. -Referee: Earl Hebner. -TOM: 18-minutes plus. -Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle, WWF [Smackdown] World Heavyweight Champion. Angle won by submission and retained his belt. -Angle was accompanied by Team Angle. -Spike Dudley vs. Steven Richards. Dudley won. -Special Referee: Jacqueline. -Sunday Night Heat. Judgment Day ’03 -The show was held on Sunday, May 18, 2003 in Charlotte, North Carolina. During the show, Eric Bischoff puked on the crowd. He had been up in the skybox with Steve Austin, eating and drinking endlessly. -Commentators: Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross (Raw matches), Michael Cole and Tazz (Smackdown matches) -The Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar, WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Lesnar used a forklift with a stretcher to win the match. He lifted the Show up for all the fans to see. He retained his belt. -Stretcher match. -It was stated that this was the first stretcher match in the WWE in 17- years and they showed footage of Andre the Giant-Killer Khan. -Rey Misterio Jr. ran out and attacked The Big Show. -Lesnar drove a forklift down to the ring. -Lesnar dove from the top of the forklift on top of Show. -Lesnar delivered an F-5 onto Show. -Lesnar put a stretcher onto a pallet on the forklift and backed up past the yellow line. -Kevin Nash vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley, World Heavyweight Champion. Nash won by DQ. -Nash was accompanied by Shawn Michaels. -Helmsley was accompanied by Ric Flair. -Referee: Earl Hebner. -The brawl started as Helmsley walked to the ring. -Hebner quickly banished both Flair and Michaels from the ringside area. -During the match, Helmsley blasted Hebner in the throat with a sledgehammer. A bell sounded afterward. Nash and Helmsley continued to brawl. -Flair ran out and chopped Nash, but it didn’t phase him. Nash pushed Michaels to the ground as well. -Nash powerbombed Helmsley through the Raw commentary table. Helmsley was assisted away from the set by Sgt. Slaughter, Terry Taylor and others. -Jacqueline vs. Trish Stratus vs. Victoria vs. Jazz, Women’s World Champion. Jazz pinned Jacqueline after a DDT. -Fatal Four Way Match. -Victoria was accompanied by Steven Richards. -Jazz was accompanied by Theodore Long. -Trish took a huge bump from the ring to the ring floor, where it looked as if she didn’t have a second to protect herself at all. It almost looked as if she lost a bunch of teeth. -Reinstated Intercontinental Battle Royal. Christian eliminated Booker T to win the championship. Christian had been previously eliminated by Booker, but the referee hadn’t seen the elimination. He had been knocked out. Participants: Booker T, Christian, Goldust, Chris Jericho, Kane, Lance Storm, Test, Rob Van Dam, and Val Venis -Man who would present the belt to the winner: Pat Patterson -Patterson was knocked out by Christian after Booker had eliminated him. -Mr. America vs. Roddy Piper. Mr. America pinned Piper. -Piper was accompanied by Sean O’Haire, who interfered in the contest. -America called Zack Gowen out to the ring and set up a chair for him ringside. Gowen prevented Vince McMahon from interfering and stopping Mr. America’s winning pinfall. -Sable vs. Torrie Wilson. Wilson won after revealing a small bikini underneath the other one she had been wearing. Afterwards, Wilson initiated a kiss with Sable. -Special Bikini Contest. -Host: Tazz. -Scott Steiner and Test vs. La Resistance. La Resistance won. -Steiner and Test were accompanied by Stacy Keibler. -Eddie Guerrero and Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Team Angle (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin), World Tag Team Champions. Guerrero and Tajiri won the belts. -Ladder Match. -Tajiri was a late substitute for Chavo Guerrero Jr., who was injured. -The FBI (Chuck Palumbo and Johnny Stromboli) and John Cena vs. Chris Benoit, Rhyno and Spanky. The FBI and Cena won. -The FBI were accompanied by Nunzio. Bad Blood ’03 (Raw Brand pay-per-view) -Bad Blood was a replacement pay-per-view for the annual King of the Ring Tournament. It was held on Sunday, June 15, 2003 in Houston, Texas at the Compaq Center. -Commentators: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler -The Dudley Boys (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von Dudley) vs. Rodney Mack and Christopher Nowinski. Nowinski pinned Buh Buh after hitting him with his protective facemask. -Mack and Nowinski were accompanied by Theodore R. Long. Redneck Triathalon: Steve Austin vs. Eric Bischoff. Austin won, 2-1. 1. Burping Contest. Both get three burps each. Austin won. 2. Pie Eating Contest. Jerry Lawler was the guest announcer. Four gorgeous girls were ready to be involved, but Austin changed the plans. He introduced Mae Young instead. The Fabulous Moolah walked out initially, but returned to the dressing room. Bischoff and Young made out for a few seconds. Young kicked Bischoff in the groin and the latter fell into a corner. Young began to disrobe, revealing a thong and garterbelts. She then gave Bischoff a bronco buster. It was Austin’s turn next and Young was ready. Instead, Austin gave Young a Stone Cold Stunner, although botched. Austin said that he forfeit and that it was now 1-1. 3. Sing Off – changed to Pig Pen Match after Austin stated that neither of them could sing. Austin spun the wheel one more time, landing on the Pig Pen Match. Austin moved it directly to that selection. Whoever throws the other into the pen, wins. Afterward, Austin came down to the ring and gave Bischoff a beating, culminating in a Stunner. He then took Bischoff out to the pen and threw him in. -Scott Steiner vs. Test. Steiner pinned Test. -Winner get’s Stacy Keibler as their manager. -Keibler was happy at the victory. -Booker T vs. Christian, WWE Intercontnental Champion. Booker won by disqualification after hitting the challenger with the title belt. -La Resistance (DuPree and Grainier) vs. Kane and Rob Van Dam, World Tag Team Champions. Van Dam was pinned and the title switched hands. -Bill Goldberg vs. Chris Jericho. Goldberg pinned Jericho following a jackhammer. -During the match, Goldberg missed a spear and went through the outside security wall, injuring his right shoulder. He was also busted open. Fans began to cheer Jericho during the match and were not all that happy to see the finish. -Goldberg confronted a ringside fan, who was wearing a Tigger outfit, afterwards. -Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels. Flair pinned Michaels. -Randy Orton attempted to interfere and received a superkick for his actions. -During the match, Michaels landed a flying bodypress from the ringpost onto Flair, who was laid out on a table outisde the ring. Flair cut either the back of his head or neck and was bleeding. -The referee was put to the mat with an unintentional low blow by Flair. -Orton smashed Michaels in the head with a chair and placed Flair on top for the pin. -Kevin Nash vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley, World Heavyweight Champion. Helmsley pinned Nash to retain his championship. -Hell in the Cell Match. -Special Referee: Mick Foley. -An extremely bloody match. -Triple H used a hammer on Nash’s leg during the bout. He also used a board with barbed wire. Nash used the wire on Triple H, busting the champion open. Helmsley would be extremely busted open. -Triple H punched Foley. Foley was later hit with a chair and busted open. Foley took out Mr. Socko and applied the Mandible Claw on Triple H. A low blow broke it up. -Foley took a huge bump from the ring apron back to the cage and down to the floor. He had been knocked off when Helmsley ran at Nash and Kevin bashed the ref. -Helmsley kicked out of a jacknife powerbomb. -Helmsley bashed Nash in the face with a sledgehammer. He then landed a pedigree and scored the pin. -Ric Flair and Randy Orton came out to assist Helmsley. |
