Royal Rumble ’89
-The second annual Royal Rumble, but
the first to be held on pay-per-view.  The     
date was January 15, 1989 and it was
held at the Summit in Houston, TX.

       -The Rougeau Brothers (Jacques and Raymond Rougeau) and Dino Bravo vs.
       The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart) and Jim Duggan.  The
       Foundation and Duggan won.
               -Best two-of-three-falls match.
               1.        Jacques Rougeau pinned Bret Hart
               2.        Jim Duggan pinned Raymond Rougeau
               3.        Hart pinned Dino Bravo
               -The Rougeaus and Bravo were accompanied by Jimmy Hart.
Crowd Estimate:  18,000.

SummerSlam ’89
-The second annual SummerSlam event was held on Monday, August 28, 1989 at
the Meadowlands Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
       -Brutus Beefcake and Hulk Hogan, WWF World Heavyweight Champion vs.
       Randy Savage and Zeus.  Hogan pinned Zeus in 15:04.
               -Savage and Zeus were accompanied by “Sensational” Sherri Martel.
       -King Jim Duggan and Demolition (Ax and Smash), WWF World Tag Team
       Champions vs. Andre the Giant and the Twin Towers (Akeem and Big
       Bossman).  Smash pinned Akeem.
       -The Ultimate Warrior vs. Rick Rude, WWF Intercontinental Champion.  Warrior
       pinned Rude to regain the title.
               -Rude was distracted by Roddy Piper, leading to the final pinfall.
               -Rude was accompanied by his manager, Bobby Heenan.
       -Ted DiBiase vs. Jimmy Snuka.  DiBiase won by countout.
               -DiBiase was accompanied by Virgil.
       -Hercules vs. Greg Valentine.  Hercules won by DQ.
       -The Brainbusters (Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard) vs. The Hart
       Foundation (Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart).  Anderson pinned Hart at the 16:23
       mark.
       -The Honky Tonk Man vs. Dusty Rhodes.  Rhodes won by pinfall.
       -Mr. Perfect vs. Red Rooster.  Perfect won by pinfall.
       -The Rougeau Brothers (Jacques and Raymond Rougeau) and Rick Martel vs.
       The Rockers (Marty Jannetty and Shawn Michaels) and Tito Santana.  The
       Rougeaus and Martel won.  Martel pinned Jannetty.

Survivor Series ’89
-The third annual event was held on November 23, 1989, Thanksgiving Thursday,
at the Rosemont Horizon in Rosemont, IL.
       -The Hulkamaniacs - Hulk Hogan, Jake Roberts and Demolition (Ax and
       Smash) vs. The Million Dollar Team - Ted DiBiase, Zeus and The Powers of
       Pain (Barbarian and The Warlord).
       Number Eliminated:
               -Zeus was disqualified.
               -Warlord pinned Ax.
               -Barbarian pinned Smash.
               -Both members of the Powers of Pain were disqualified and eliminated.
               -Ted DiBiase pinned Jake Roberts.
               -Hulk Hogan pinned DiBiase.
               Hulk Hogan was the sole survivor.
       -The Ultimate Warriors – Ultimate Warrior, Jim Neidhart and The Rockers
       (Marty Jannetty and Shawn Michaels) vs. The Heenan Family - Andre the
       Giant, Arn Anderson, Haku and Bobby Heenan.
       Number Eliminated:
               -Andre the Giant was counted out and eliminated.
               -Haku pinned Jim Neidhart.
               -Bobby Heenan pinned Marty Jannetty.
               -Shawn Michaels pinned Haku.
               -Arn Anderson pinned Michaels.
               -Ultimate Warrior pinned Anderson.
               -Warrior pinned Heenan.

No Holds Barred – The Match, The Movie
-The match was pre-taped live before a crowd on Tuesday, December 12, 1989.  
Broadcast two days after Christmas on December 27, 1989, a Wednesday Evening.
       -Randy Savage, King of the WWF, and Zeus vs. Brutus Beefcake and Hulk
       Hogan, WWF World Heavyweight Champion.  Beefcake and Hogan won.
               -Special Steel Cage Match.
               -Savage and Zeus were accompanied by “Sensational” Sherri Martel.
       -The movie “No Holds Barred” starring Terry “Hulk Hogan” Bollea and Tiny
       Lister Jr. was shown.
