*In the Wednesday, November 6, 1946 edition of the Wichita Eagle, a challenge from Ede
Virag to Orville Brown was printed.  Virag stated that this was going to be his last attempt
to get Brown into the ring.  He wanted to wrestle Brown on November 16 in a "winner-take-
all, $1,000 side bet" match.  Matchmaker Bill Atkinson originally scheduled Brown to face
Everette Marshall on November 16.

taken to a hospital after the match.
