Notes:  In the promotional advertising, this show was said to be a “Barnet (sic) – Doyle –
Robertson Promotion.” The Auditorium was at “Riverside Drive at Ferry.” The newspaper
stated that this was the “first time” wrestling was going to be staged at the Auditorium.
Dick the Bruiser was defending his U.S. Title against Pat O’Connor, the “former
titleholder.” O’Connor “was dethroned by the Bruiser,” according to the Windsor paper.
This information was reaffirmed on October 7, 1961 when the newspaper claimed that
Bruiser had successfully defended his title, and that O’Connor “formerly wore the prize
belt.” At one point, O’Connor used a chair on Bruiser’s head.
